BLACK CINEMA SERIES - 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27th , at the Little Theatre. “Decade of Fire” chronicles a series of South Bronx fires that raged throughout the 1970s and how African Americans and Puerto Ricans rose above that devastation to rebuild their community. After the screening, there will be an in-person discussion with director/producer Vivian Vazquez Irizarry, who was born in the Bronx. The Black Cinema Series is sponsored by the R ochester A ssociation of B lack J ournalists ( RABJ ) and The Little Theatre. Annual Flu Clinic-- September 29th - It is that time of year once again. Cough, colds and "The Flu". Please sign up for the clinic after service on 9/15 and 9/22. The clinic will be held immediately after morning worship service. OCTOBER Youth Academy will resume in October . We Need Teachers! Please consider helping our youth grow spiritually by teaching them about God’s Word. Youth Choir Rehearsal will resume Tuesday, Oct. 1st, 6-7pm . Youth sing every 3rd Sunday and participate in the order of service. Wide Breast Cancer Seminar will be Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Locust Hill Country Club, 5PM to 9:15PM. The seminar will continue to cover the Multidisciplinary approach to the care of the Breast Cancer patient, which includes; Radiation, Surgery, Oncology, Imaging, Positive mindset, Spirituality, Nutrition, Exercise, Obesity, and the Whole You! Drs. Ruby and Douglas Belton are co-founders. The cost for community church groups and other laypersons is $25. Cost for MDs and all other health care professionals is $50. Please see Dr. Mary K. We need people who can help in a variety of ways, i.e.: lifting, shopping, serving, record keeping, organizing, etc. If you are retired, or have time, the Pantry hours are Monday's, 9:00 AM - Noon .
