Preach
the Gospel |
Articulately
proclaim the Gospel centered in Jesus the Christ,
his birth, life, teachings, vicarious death,
resurrection, abiding presence with us through the
Holy Spirit and his promised return to claim his
own. Assure that each person learns of God’s love
and of his/her responsibility to be obedient to His
divine will.

season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all
longsuffering and teaching.”

Church Growth |
Develop
and maintain programs and activities for increasing
the membership and/or the vision and ministry of the
church. |

Education |
Provide
a Teaching Ministry that is Bible based and has a
sound theological foundation. |
|
Interpret the Faith |
Communicate
a comprehensive understanding of the Bible, Baptist doctrine, and Christian
theology in terms relevant to individual lives. |

Worship Preparation and
Leadership |
Lead
and participate actively in worship, offering feedback and suggestions for
greater participation, improved programming and effectiveness in the worship
experience. |
|
Evangelism |
Seek
to lead persons to Christ and encourage their identification with and
participation in the church and local community, as well as assist in developing
new congregations. Have an active and visible presence in the greater
community. |

Leadership |
As the leader, serve as an administrator utilizing effective
communication skills and team management techniques to articulate and fulfill
the vision and mission of the church, as well as manage and resolve crisis
situations. |

Conduct Ordinances |
Conduct communion, baptisms, weddings, funerals, etc. |
|
Counseling/Care for the Sick |
Provide wise counseling as needed; meeting the needs of those
that need guidance and a healing word. Visit and minister to the sick and
shut-in. |
