Mt. Olivet Family Vacation Bible School, Aug 2nd – 6th, 5:30pm to 8:15pm - This program is for pre-school children through adults.  This year's theme is, “Praise Party: Worshipping God with Head, Heart, Hands, Feet, and Soul!”.   Registration Started, June 13th

Light Dinner - 5:30pm

Daily Program Concludes - 8:15pm

Children:  grades 1- 6; teens 13-18; young Adults 19-30 and Adults 30+

Clarissa Street Reunion & Health Fair, Aug 21st, 10:00am - 11:00pm - This event is FREE!  Arts, Crafts, Music-Jazz, R&B, Gospel and fun activities  for the whole Family.   The event will be located at Clarissa Street from Troup Street to Dr. Samuel McCree Way.

Banner Training - Let’s learn to share the ministry of God’s Word through visual aids, bulletin board and banners. Please sign up Today in Whitaker Hall with Sadie Hill. Classes will begin soon.

Free Training & Job Placement - Pathstone is offering Free training and job placement!  Call 241-4316 for details.

Mt. Olivet's 12th Grade Program, December 2010 - This Program which consists of valuable workshops for high school seniors, will resume in December. Students will have the opportunity of meeting with seniors form other area high schools we are taking names of current high school juniors for participation next school year. For questions and to submit names, call Rae Carson at 328-7528.

Food Pantry The Food Pantry is currently low.  We are unable to accommodate all families in need who contact us for assistance. Please check the new list of needed items on the Bulletin Board.  Thank you and May God bless you.  Deliveries will be provided only for the shut-in.

Volunteers Needed

Cornhill Festival - Join your church family and share your talents and gifts on Saturday, July 10th, from 10:00am – 6:00p and Sunday, July 11th, from 10:00a. – 5:00pm.   There are many volunteer opportunities for you!

We are looking for volunteers to serve in 2 hour increments. Please sign-up at the table in Whitaker Hall after worship service NEXT SUNDAY, May 30th!

They are looking for scholars for the Golden Scholar Program.  They want these students Now!  They are listed as a Historically Black College/University and work hard at nurturing and guiding students. Harvard University, No Tuition Program - Harvard recently announced that from now on undergraduate students from low-income families will pay NO tuition. If you know of a family earning less than $60,000 a year with an honor student graduating from high school soon, Harvard University will pay the tuition. Florida  A&M Scholarship for Black Women - FAMU is providing an outstanding opportunity for Black women entering college in the fall of 2009. It is designed to address their absence in the field of computer technology. Dr. Jason Black is the Principal Investigator of a recently awarded $552,000 NSF Grant entitled African-American Women in Computer Science.  The grant provides scholarships from $4000 to $10,000 per year for female African American students .
