Thank You - The Alzheimer's Ministry Team would like to Thank all the members who supported The Memory Walk on Saturday October 21 at Frontier Field.   Our Team’s total count was $2215.  The funds will be used for Research and Programs that will support and benefit many members of Our Community.  God bless you, Lois, Diane, Mamie, Val, and Ivena.

Youth Ministries - This Sunday we will be Welcoming and Hosting Youth Ministries from local churches as a part of our CYLC Service. CYLC, is a collaboration of Church Youth Ministries that come together to fellowship, encourage and minister to the Youth of our Community.  Members of various churches will be in service with us.  Let’s give them a Warm Mt. Olivet Welcome!

Teachers Needed -Youth Academy that takes place every 2nd and 4th Sunday is looking for teachers. If you feel led to teach one of our classes please see Pastor P or call the church 585.232.6742 ext. 24.

The Nominating Committee Update - We Need You!!! Today is Your Last Chance!   Submit your name or someone else’s name for consideration for one of the leadership opportunities for 2018. The Nominating Committee will begin vetting candidates right away with a goal of having the 2018 slate of officers posted by Wednesday, November 22nd if not sooner.  Members of the nominating committee will be available to answer your questions and we will have handouts of the position duties so you can make an informed decision.    Thank You,

Scouting, Volunteers Needed - Become a Leader!, Volunteering with Scouting is rewarding and meaningful to both you and the kids.  Watching kids grow is one thing, leading them through the process is a totally unique experience.  Volunteering is the key that unlocks the confidence kids need to stand on their own two feet. It allows adults to share inspiring experiences with children, provide mentoring, and make lifetime experiences that put a bunch of good kids on the path to a great life.

Give Back to the Youth in Our Community!

Mt. Olivet's Facility Issues - Well done, good and  faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness! Matthew 25:21

Mt. Olivet's Facilities Committee asks that you help identify facility issues and concerns throughout our church.  To share concerns and issues, feel free to send an email to  or call the office to share. The committee will work diligently to address concerns and thanks every member, for your faithfulness.

Van Drivers, Needed - Drivers needed for Van Ministry.  Please contact Ernest Hicks at 425-4088 or Norman Strothers at 732-4666.

AB Girls Ministries - There will be monthly meetings  on the fourth,4th, Sunday at the lower level of the church immediately following worship in the lower level of the church. Young Ladies in grades 3 – 12 are asked to participate.  Stop by the table and sign up for the AB Girls Ministries here at Mt. Olivet.  See Latisha McCray President., ABW of Mt. Olivet

Children's Academy - This meeting will meet occur 2nd and 4th Sunday! All children will be dismissed immediately following the morning Hymn.   All parents please stop by the Youth Ministry table in the fellowship hall to update contact information.
