The Holyland -  Would you like to Journey through the bible with a Visit to The Holy Land? Please come to an informational meeting on May 31 in the old sanctuary. There will be two sessions. Hazardous Sidewalk Replacement Program -  The Adams Street parking lot will be closed on Monday, May 21st and May 28th for sidewalk repairs. Please use the Clarissa Street Parking lot.

Secret Place Booklet - The Summer Booklets are now available. Please see Barbara Weaver in Whitaker Hall after Worship service today for your copy, $1.00 each.

New Book Club - Women’s Ministry would like to introduce a new book club. Our first book will be The Story and is available after church in Whitaker Hall for $5. Our first meeting will be held in September.

Booth Space - For the Corn Hill Festival, July 7th - 8th, and the  Clarissa Street Reunion, August 18th,  a limited number of 10ft x 10ft booth spaces will be available on the Mt Olivet Church grounds.   A $50.00 fee will be charged for each day.  If interested, submit a completed application with check payable to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church by June 30th. Contact Harvey McCorvey at 721-6242, Dorothy Davis at 266-4500 or Sharon Divers at 284-1528 for additional information and application form.

Volunteers Needed, Corn Hill Festival Committee - This year the 44th Corn Hill Arts Festival will be day Saturday and Sunday, July 7th and 8th.  We need over 60 people to volunteer and get involved.  We are looking for individuals willing to participate  now to become chairs for this event in the future.  Please contact this year’s Co-Chairs, Lois Norman at 943-3466 or via email, lwilnor@msn.com or Jerdine Johnson at 317-6721 or email,  johnsonj045@gmail.com.

Childhood Behaviors and Movements Study, The University of Rochester - Participants will receive a $20 gift card following a 20-30 minute interview. Food Pantry - Thank you for your food donations. We were able to bless 33 families this week. Please continue to be a blessing by providing canned fruit and vegetables, this week.

 Financial Contribution - All members and visitors making a Financial Contribution to the church are requested to use a contribution envelope. The envelope should contain your name, address and distribution of the funds donated. Envelops are available in the pews or from an usher. Thank You, The Finance Committee

Vouchers, Dept. Chair Signature Required - All Vouchers submitted, require the Dept. Chair's or President's signature and the correct account number.  Those submitted without this vital information will not be approved.  Please refer to the Mt. Olivet Disbursement Process Rev. Volunteers Needed, Math and Spanish Tutors - The Youth Ministry is in need of Math and Spanish Tutors to assist our young people in performing their best in school. If you are willing to give one day a week to help one of our youth succeed in school, please see or e-mail Minister Jones. The dates and times for tutoring will be will be determined at a later time. Thank You.

L.E.A.D. 12th Grade Program - Mount Olivet has a program for 12th graders. Leadership Enrichment and Academic Development. The purpose of the program is for spiritual growth; to gain crucial knowledge which will assist with life situations; and to fellowship in fun gatherings with other high school seniors, through monthly meetings. Youth’s Learn2Earn2 Program - This is a year-long work readiness program for youth, ages 17-21, who have either dropped out or have graduated from high school. To learn more, please contact Joel Greenwich or Jay Nettles at 473-2464.
