Usher Board

 This ministry serves as a reception committee at all worship services and special occasions of the church.  Ushers handle the seating of the congregation, collection of offerings and assuring that the sanctuary is in the proper order for public worship. The Usher Board meets at 6:30 pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
Praise and Worship Team This team leads the congregation in song and prayer at the 9:45 am pre-Sunday morning services.
Mid-Week Prayer

The power of prayer should not be underestimated. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16-18 declares, "…Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops." God most definitely listens to prayers, answers prayers, and moves in response to prayers.

This ministry is held at 6:00 pm every Wednesday.  Come share in prayer for Mt. Olivet, the community, personal needs and special requests. 

Intercessory Prayer Intercessory prayer is prayer for others.  This ministry offers prayer and spiritual petitions concerning prayer requests and special needs of individuals, church members, the Church and the community. 

An intercessor is one who takes the place of another or pleads another's case. One study Bible defines intercession as "holy, believing, persevering prayer whereby someone pleads with God on behalf of another or others who desperately need God's intervention."

This group meets at 5:00 pm every Monday evening.
